Property Description
The Grinch "Steele's" Road
A garden so big,
"it's for those with green fingers",
when the Grinch heard this,
around the house, he lingered.
As he gazed at the exterior,
that was far from inferior,
He knew that living here
would be super superior.
The family that lived there
were beautiful and kind,
How would he get them out?
He would have to use his mind!
As they left for the day,
and heard their laughter,
he executed his plan,
immediately thereafter.
He entered the chimney,
and flew down the flu,
he became so excited,
he exclaimed a loud "Whoo".
The house had a finish so fine,
He said it must be mine!
I need this home for eating,
and drinking my wine.
A house with floors
but no flaws,
extra high ceilings,
and extra high doors.
He said "This is the house
which I truly adore",
he admired the staircase,
And loved all the floors.
The Grinch loved the cold,
and in the kitchen was "Sub-Zero"
And next to it stood a "Wolf"
would it be the hero?
But the Wolf was a range cooker,
a wolf whistle looker,
a model so sexy,
it deserved a model-booker.
The period features
were loved by this green creature,
He wanted its history,
He wanted a teacher.
The master bedroom was HUGE,
Loved by this green Scrooge,
The bath was so big,
He used it as a luge.
The garden and house connection,
he loved on inspection,
the way the space flowed,
was pure perfection.
As he sat in the great rooms,
a feeling started to dawn,
he had no one to play with,
and began to yawn.
The family came home,
to find him all alone,
they woke him to ask him
who should they phone?
He said no!
because he did not know,
tears welled up,
and started to show.
They cooked and they fed him,
they gave him warm bedding,
they were kind and lovely,
for friendship, this was heading
The house was so big,
they said he could join them,
living under one roof,
to forever annoy them.
