Fitzjohns Avenue

Fitzjohns Avenue was originally designed as a grand boulevard linking Swiss Cottage to Hampstead Village. The properties are characterised by elaborate Victorian and Edwardian detailing, including gables, turrets, and terracotta panels. Many of the houses were built as show homes for affluent merchants and bankers.
